This large landscape work is taken from Hugh Sawrey’s experiences as a drover on Maneroo Station, a large sheep property located outside Longreach in Queensland.
It was part of a vast network of pastoral properties including Retro, Maneroo, Tinnenburra, Caiwarra and Currawinya that covered much of the interior of this northern state.
